    Hello,

I’m looking to change the Checkout Page “Place Order” text. I’m using the Block page and not the shortcode. Clicking the block, I’m not seeing any options to update the text. I’ve tried to use some PHP hooks but those no longer seem to run when using the Block Template.

I thought I figured it out by double-clicking into the Block Button and updating the text, but even when I go to save changes the text does not get updated on the actual Checkout page.

What’s the preferred way to change the checkout button text to say “Buy Now” instead of “Place Order”?

    Hello Howdy_McGee,

Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

I understand you’re trying to change the “Place Order” text on the Checkout Page to “Buy Now” while using the Block Template, but the changes you’ve tried either don’t apply or aren’t saved.

To achieve this, you can use the proceedToCheckoutButtonLabel filter, which allows you to modify the checkout button text specifically for blocks.

You can find more details in the following resources:
    WooCommerce Developer Blog
    Filter Documentation

As per our support policy, I cannot assist with custom code.
