    Hi,

First off thank you and the team for making an amazing compression technology. I’m really surprised PS hasn’t touched you guys yet.

First, is there a way to change the amount of compression on the wordpress plugin? I’m finding some JPEGs become overly compressed (example in post URL).

Secondly, is there a way to exclude certain images from being compressed? Right now it all happens automatically and sometimes I don’t want it to compress my upload. I have to deactivate the plugin to accomplish this…

    Hi,

Thanks for your feedback! The compression technology is built with the idea to remove human decision making from the process. That’s why we intended for the compression to be aggressive but still acceptable for casual observers.

Many website owners (understandably) worry about the quality of the images, but we have found that most users generally do not notice slight artefacts. Of course we try to take great care to make sure the artefacts are barely noticeable, and this is sometimes pretty subjective.

We would love to use your (original) image in our test data set. Would you mind sending it to [email protected]?

Excluding images from being compressed is on our list of possible improvements, but isn’t planned yet. We will let you know once we get around to it.

    Thanks for your suggestions!
