• I always use the youtube function from the the editor’s toolbar when adding YT videos to a post. However, every time I add a video, when using this function, it defines the width of the video 600 px. It’s not a problem for me since I can change the value to whatever..but since I have alot of guest editors, it’s pretty inconvenient to tell each one to modify that value.

So basically, my question is…can the default value be changed?

  • Did you try the custom option under embed in YT? Why not add instructions in FAQ or a separate page for others to follow when embedding videos?

Well, there are many choices but since this is probably the easiest, I wanted to apply it. I only use this custom width on YT videos for this site and it seemed the most practical approach.
