Change the Ellipsis to “Read More”

  • Hey all–
    Currently my blog is only showing an ellipsis (…) where it cuts off posts, and I’d like to change to something more obvious.

    I’ve found the bit of code in: [my theme]/index.php where I believe this is called in:
    <?php the_content(‘Read the rest of this entry »’); ?>

    but as you can see, that bit of code is not what shows up in the posts! Currently, all I see is an ellipsis, even though in the code above it says that I should be seeing “Read the rest of this entry”.

    So, am I looking in the wrong place?
