  • Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS work.

    I changed the class in my style.css file

    what class?

    for general formatting problems, try using a browser inspection tool such as Firebug to find out which styles are responsible for formatting the footer menu;

    or ask at a css forum like https://csscreator.com/forum

    you will probably need to post a link to your site for anybody to be able to provide any suggestions.
