Change the header/background image per post

    I know it sounds kind of silly, but I am looking to have each post determine which header image and background image to use.

    I would prefer the index page to have it’s own bg and head, however my goal is to theme each article page to its specific content.

    Any ideas?

    i am just now searching through this forum, so i dunno if there are any answers yet.

    but i need this feature as well.
    actually, not as a true background, but i’d like to be able to add a post or page and have a “background image” upload thingie that will be used in a different manner than regular image uploads.

    I know you can do by category, using a different template for each category.

    For post by post you might be able to use the built in image upload function, turn off the WYSIWYG editor and write the HTML into the post box that puts your image where you want. Dont know though, havent tried it.
