Change the 'home' page title on Pilcrow

Hi. I’m using the Pilcrow theme and trying to change the name of my home page, but it’s constantly defaulting back to ‘home’. I’ve tried changing every ‘home’ label within the header.php file within the themes folder to my preferred page name. Can anyone help with this please?
