Thank you for the nice plugin.
    The plugin works great.

I just wanted to ask one thing.
The language after installing is the regional language.
I would like to change the language to English.
    How do I do that?
I didn’t see anything in the settings about this.

Can you try to delete it, then change the language in your WP admin area, and then install it again? Does that work?

My default language in my WP admin area was already english.

    Hey @randon ,

Copy Delete Posts plugin should pull the language specified in WP admin > Settings > Site language.

If the plugin doesn’t change the language accordingly, please let me know which language other than English was in question, so we can try to replicate the issue?

    Kind regards

Sorry I didn’t answer you earlier.

Indeed, the site language is french.
However my Admin dashboard language is English and all plugins are in English except “Copy Delete Posts”

    Hi @randon

Our plugin uses native WordPress translation system integrated with www.ads-software.com, if you’re using some third party plugin that takes control over language settings it may cause conflicts.

In any case I doubt that in case of conflict only our plugin would struggle.

    Please process with these steps:

    1. Make sure your website language Settings->General->Site Language is set to “English (United States)”
    2. Make sure your user language is set to “English (United States)” as well. Users -> Profile -> Language.
    3. Once you do that, go to Dashboard -> Updates and find “Check again” button and click it. Then you may notice at the bottom “Translations” section, here you should be able to click on button “Update Translations”.

If you don’t see any “Translations” section in Updates section of WordPress or there is just no “Update Translations” button, it means that all of your translations are up to date.

It’s important to set the English version as (United States). It should work for others as well, but US is the one I am fully sure that should work.

Let me know if that resolves your issue ??
    Thank you!

    Thanks for writing.

    Hereby my settings:

    1. Site Language is set to French
    2. User language is set to English (United States)
    3. All the translations are up to date

What I tried to write in my first comment is that this is the case for every plugin and every plugin (in my dashboard) is in English except Duplicate Post (Copier et supprimer les publications).

Anyway, no problem if you don’t find a solution (an option to manually specify the language in settings?). The plugin seems to work fine.

    Hi @randon

It turns out that it may be actually issue with our plugin that indicates wrong currently selected language.

Could you please try with below beta version, I’ve prepared for you?

    Download: https://copy-delete-posts.com/downloads/cdp-beta/copy-delete-posts-1.4.0.9.zip

Let me know if that resolves your issue ??
    Thank you!

Yes, copy & Delete Posts on the left is now in English.

    The settings are gone.

    All I see is this:
    Copy now!
    x
    time(s)

    to
    x

    Settings:
    x

(above all plugins and in settings of your plugin)

    Hi @randon

My apologies by mistake I uploaded development version of the plugin, which can’t work without proper environment.

    I corrected the URL: https://copy-delete-posts.com/downloads/cdp-beta/copy-delete-posts-1.4.0.9.zip?v=fix

I added “?v=fix” to prevent download caching.

Let me know if that works for you now ??
    Thank you!

    Everything ok. Thank you.

Can I keep this beta version and use it or do I have to wait for the next official version?

    (@iclyde)

It’s for public use, feel free to keep it ??
Issue will be resolved permanently in upcoming official release.

    Hi iClyde,

I’ve tried your steps to change language on my site https://utakmiceuzivo.live

Make sure your website language Settings->General->Site Language is set to “English (United States)” but the content, headings, etc. remains in non-English language. Possibly there’s another fix to this problem..

    Hi @asifmalik296

This topic is not about changing language of the posts or similar content.

It’s only about language of our plugin settings page.

To translate posts, please look for appropriate plugin to do that.
