Change the Logo

Hi, i can not put my logo on my wordpress site. I uploaded the logo into images file as logo.png. And my code in my theme is like this:

<a>/"><?php bloginfo('name'); ?></a></h1>
				<div class="description"><?php bloginfo('description'); ?></div>

Can you help me pls?
