Change the navigation/create a unique frontpage

Hi there,

I am still strugling with the problem to create a unique static front page on my site. I know how to create a template for the layout but I can’t figure out what to do with the navigation. Where do I insert the correct link so when you click on Home it takes you to my template? I can imagine it is in the style code, but I am not sure which and where I should put the code?

I hope some one can help me as this is one of the final thing before going online. You can see my test site here where I have added the Om Os as a static page which then become the frontpage… Not quite my intention.
