Change the Password Reset Email domain link?

In this case, the users login at https://www.sitename.com/wordpress/wp-login.php and not at /wordpress.

But you have brought to mind a good point in that, in the Password Reset email, there are two links. The first being the one mentioned above. And then the second one being the unique link to where the user can reset the password.

To my mind the first link should either be to the site itself, or directly to the /wp-login.php page. Linking to the sub-directory does not make sense to me since it is neither where the site is nor where one logs in. Hence my desire to change it.

I have changed the sub-directory name. Login link is top right of page.

You installed WordPress at https://www.iussonline.co.za/iuss, so that is where people will need to go to login – unless you move the entire install to the root domain folder.

Referring to my original question. I am looking for a way to change the link in the Lost Password/Password Reset email.
Users login in at /iuss/wp-login.php not /iuss. The link in the email should therefore go to the /wp-login.php page directly. Or to the site home page.

Either way, I am looking for a means to update the link in the email accordingly. If it is not possible, I would prefer to remove that link entirely and leave only the unique “change password” link.

Any ideas on how to change the link?

You cannot change the login link without moving the entire install to the root domain.

Thank you for the feedback, info and help. I do however feel that there should be a way to change or remove the link in the email. There would be code somewhere controlling the display/output of the email. As such, there should be a way to modify that code other than moving the entire installation or modifying core.

If there is no way to change the text in the email, then to me that would be an oversight within WordPress itself. Moving the location of a WP installation is not a viable solution to changing one line in an email.

I have the same issue with 3.41. I am running IIS 7.5 with the Configure SMTP plugin. The site is https://regressivewatch.org/wordpress/
