Change the phone(optional) to phone

    I am using the new checkout of the woocommerce

    May i know how to remove the optional text behind the phone because the phone is the information must be enter

    Kindly let me know how to use the pho to remove the optional or how i find this coding in the cpanel?

    Hi @zaoyao,

    To make the phone field required when using the checkout block please go to Pages > Checkout.

    Then, click on the icon with three horizontal lines on the top left, this will show the list view. There, select the Shipping/Billing address (if you want it to be required on both, in case they are different, you need to do this on both).

    If the right sidebar is not showing, please click on the settings icon on the top right. Here’s a screenshot:?https://snipboard.io/3uZK27.jpg — Then, on the sidebar go to the address fields section and make sure the “require phone number” option is enabled.

    Don’t forget to save the changes.

    Actually my problem is phone number is required when checkout but the word display optional behind the phone. It will let user confuse. I just want to remove the optional word . It mean from the Phone (optional) to phone only

    Thanks for the clarification and the details.
