Change the "(Read more..)" text

    Hi, I’m trying to change the text (Read more…) that comes from adding a “read more” when typing a blog post but i can’t seem to get where to change it? Some say content.php and some say function.php but changing something in function.php crashes the site as I’m using i child theme.

    Any one who can help me out?

    I think that I need to make an update to the theme so that you can remove the function of the parent in your child theme and add your own.

    I know that this is the wrong thing to do, but for now, you can open up the functions.php in the parent theme, go to line 136 and change Read more to whatever you want.

    When/if there’s an update, you’ll loose your changes, but I wasn’t planning on making changes anytime soon. However, I may need to look at this and figure out how to make it so that child theme’s can override parent functions.
