Change the way a category page looks

  • Hi all,

    I need some help. What I am trying to do is have a category which will have all the band profiles (separate posts in that particular category).

    But I don’t want the conventional blog look for only that particular ‘bands’ category. I want thumbnails with the title of the page above the thumbnail and when clicked, goes to the respective post.

    Can anyone tell me if that possible?

  • if your theme does not already have a category.php, then make a copy of index.php, and save it under the name category.php

    then do your edits in there.

    search the web/forum/codex for how to insert a thumbnail.

    when you get suck and get problems, you could come back with more detailed questions.
