Change Themes on Existing WP

  • What would happen if I just change themes on an existing WP running on BlueHost?

    Can you just do it and have basically everything you now have, but in a different theme?

  • Yes. Just download the new theme distro, uncompress to your hard drive, then upload to the /wp-content/themes folder. Make sure your theme is uploaded only one folder deep – in other words, a folder named “theme” (whatever the theme name is), in which you see an “images” folder, and the php files which make up the theme….
