    Hi

This is my URL – https://www.amybakerwrites.com

Is it possible for me to increase the number of things i can display in the portfolio section. I would like to add in a lot more clients that I have written for. Is that possible?

    Please let me know. Thanks

hi, i have seen the portfolio section if we talk about the design of the homepage and the theme used as its having fully stretched screen size , it looks bit unmanageable and will create struggle to read and if you try to add more on portfolio’s and about your clients then will look more weird. As your theme shows everything very big your viewers need to scroll more which is not a good thing for your site health. In the end i would suggest you to reduce the screen size of your blog so you can add more content at the same area without scrolling down more which is also helpful in increasing site CTR,i have done the same thing in my own blog you can check its theme design and screen size it will give you a clear view about every thing https://wordpresskb.com/

yeah sure, actually you are using a static page you can go to the homepage builder of your theme panel and from there you can set everything as i told you to do ??

    Hi Writeonsister,

Your theme uses Twitter Bootstrap grid to lay content out. It’s quite possible to add more portfolio projects by changing the grid and make each project smaller so that more fit on one line. Alternately, you can add more portfolio projects of the same size as the present by spanning over multiple lines.

The template file you need to tackle is index-projects.php. Furthermore, if you want to set up the additional projects from the options panel, you’ll need to modify projects_settings.php inside the functions > theme_options > pages directory.

Obviously, you’ll need a child theme to carry out the job.

It’s quite a lot of work and I’m not sure it’s worth it. In fact, 4 key pieces as featured portfolio work makes a lot of design sense, especially given that users have the option to view all projects by clicking the appropriate button.

    I hope this helps ??
