Change Token ID on Registeration

    Hello YITH WooCommerce Affiliates Staff,

    Is there a way to set the URL Token ID to a keyword at the time of registration. For example, can there be a text field with yoursite.com/ then a text field after that and whatever keyword they type, it could be their referral link rather than a random number like yoursite.com/?ref1?

    Hi graphettion,

    refer token is univocally assigned to affiliate, and it identifies him when processing url parsing

    It can be changed by admin from user edit page, and can be any unique string; anyway, changing it will invalid any link generated previously

    Maybe, we can give user the ability to choose his affiliate token when registering, but this is not a easy-to-develop feature, and may require some changes in the plugin core

    I will add it to the list of possible feature update, but I can’t give you any ETA, as currently there is no plugin upgrade scheduled
