Change upload path to private folder

    The default upload path is /public/wp-content/uploads. I’d like to change it to /private/secure-folder.

    Is this possible? I’ve been trying to accomplish this using uploadpath in the shortcode. It’s not working and I have the feeling that a solution is a bit more complicated than changing the shortcode…

    For security reasons storing files outside the wordpress directory has been forbidden. So with uploadpath you will not manage to do it. You can implement wfu_before_file_check filter, where you can change the upload path of the file programmatically to whatever you want.
