Change URL for media / image

    Hi,this plugin does not seem to edit permalinks for images.

    When I added a PNG image to the media library, the permalink was generated as “www.website.com/image-name/”. Now these images appear in google search as separate webapges. So I have installed the plugin and tried to change the permalink to “www.website.com/image-name.png” – but it doesn’t help. Instead, I get “…com/?attachment_id”

    Am I doing something wrong? Please help. Love your add-in.

    Hi mbaloba,

    Yes, this plugin does not work with the image post type. By default, WordPress creates a post type for the uploaded images and you can edit that post type permalink through this plugin but can not edit the image permalink itself.

    I am working on this and trying to provide this functionality. Hopefully, it would be come soon ??

    Hi Everyone ( @mbaloba, @whocan, @i19k ),

    I know, you guys were waiting for the Edit Permalink Feature from a long time.

    Today, i have finally added this feature but not in this plugin as not all the people wants it. So, i have decided to add this functionality as a new plugin.

    I hope, this plugin would help you and i’ll wait for your guys feedback on it. As feedback provide us motivation and allow us to contribute it in open source community.
