    Hello,

    I just wanted to flag that the new notice about ‘You just changed the URL’ is being displayed on ACF field groups which have no actual permalink. Might want to suppress from CPTs that aren’t front-facing.

    Cheers

    option to completely disable this would be great; either from toggle or filter.

    Hi All,

    We understand that the message of “You just changed the URL” is being displayed on ACF fields in CPTs that are not front-facing. Can you elaborate more on this or take screenshots? Are you able to provide a step-by-step instruction on how to make “You just changed the URL” appear on a non-facing CPT?

    We ask as we are not sure if this is a feature or a bug.

    Hi @pcosta88,

    Here’s a screenshot;

    Going to reproduce I found if you update an ACF Field Group you don’t get the message. It’s simply when you initially create and publish it.

    So Install Yoast SEO & ACF, then go in and Add New a Field Group, give it a name and hit publish.

    So might be less about front-facing CPT and more about new CPT posts as a new post shouldn’t really flag this as before it didn’t even have a URL.

    Cheers

    Hi,

    We are not able to reproduce that issue. We created a test field and published it. No notification appeared. See image: https://pasteboard.co/GME4IpJ.png. We would like some more information.
    -Are you using ACF free or Pro? Are they up-to-date?

    -Can you confirm you are using the most recent Yoast SEO v5.5.1??

    -Can you confirm you are using WordPress 4.8.2? You can check by clicking on the W in the top left and selecting About. If you need to update, please check with your host provider.?Please know that if you are using an older version of WordPress Core you may experience unexpected behavior with Yoast.?This guide explains more:?https://yoast.com/why-we-dont-support-old-wordpress-versions/.

    Hi @pcosta88,

    I went through a new install to figure out why you weren’t able to reproduce and it appears it’s simply the difference between ACF and ACF-Pro. When I’m using just ACF no issue, but with ACF Pro causes issue.

    My installed components;
    WordPress 4.8.2
    Yoast 5.5.1
    ACF Pro 5.6.2

    I have a blank instance with the above installed, what’s the best way to provide credentials?

    All the best,
    Cheers
