Change When an Event is Delisted?

Is there a way to change when an event is delisted, or change when it is considered a “past event”? We have a page on our website that automatically shows our future events in chronological order, however it seems the most recent upcoming event always becomes delisted / moved to the “past events” category about three hours before the event starts. Is there a way to change this so the event delists at the same time the event ends?
