change WordPress Address to default

dear all,

I have an old WordPress installation with Site URL=foo.com and WordPress Address URL = foo.com/bar . I would like to change the latter back to the default foo.com.

Do I understand this right that if I change it from Settings->General and then move all files from …/bar to the parent folder, I should end up with the right setup (both in terms of data base and where the WordPress files are located).
