Change wordpress theme through code using wordpress rest API

I can’t help with wp rest API but there is another way you can change the theme with easy way.

You can change the theme by WP-CLI

Install theme by terminal

wp theme install golpo

Now check theme list:

wp theme list

then

wp theme activate golpo
