Display Redirect Domain Name in WP Site URLs

  • Hello,

    I’m very new to this, this is my first real site ??

    https://www.fiftyyoung.com is an alias for my actual site fiftyyoung.imanuelae.com. However in the WP URLs it shows as fiftyyoung.imanuelae.com e.g. fiftyyoung.imanuelae.com/welcome, rather than the preferred https://www.fiftyyoung.com/welcomee.

    I’ve looked through the codex and found some articles about changing the site URL https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL.

    1. Do I need all these steps or can I just change how the links are displayed in the URL?

    2. Also, will changing the display / site url have a negative impact on SEO?
