Change written “sale” above Woocommerce products

    Hello everyone and thank you for reading my request. I use the excellent Astra theme in one of my e-commerce site. For e-commerce I use the Woocommerce plugin. When I set a product with a list price and one with a discount, “Sale” appears in the product image and so far so natural.
    The problem is that my site is in Italian and the writing above the image is not translated well. How could I go about changing it?

    You can use a third party like Loco Translate for the ease. You can use this doc as a reference of how to do that.

    Or using a plugin is not your preference, this doc might help.

    Hi @bsfherman, thanks to answered me.

    Woowcommerce is fully translated in my language (Italian) only the label above the discounted products image has a wrong translation. I don’t know if the problem is on Astra or Woocommerce. In the Astra options I searched all the entries but I didn’t find anything for this translation.

    I wouldn’t install a plugin just for this little thing.

    If you can’t find the string on Astra, then it must be the part of WooCommerce. Also, if you installing another plugin is not your option, then the doc I shared above should help you. You will only need to do that for the WooCommerce plugin.
