Changed admin, Gravatar missing

  • Hello, I was changing the main administration name for security reasons. Deleted the old administrator and authored all posts to the new administrator.

    Now, even though I’ve changed the email address back to the original email address the new admin doesn’t have the old admin’s gravatar.

    This is really bad as it looks as though it’s not me replying to all the posts!!!

    robcub, it looks like your Gravatar is working correctly on your site now; was it a temporary problem, or did you find a fix?

    Sorry, kodamapixel, I didn’t find a fix, I reverted to an older database copy. I’m sure it’s possible to fix though.

    Thanks anyway. The fix I’ve found is by changing the user_id in the wp_comments table; from 1 (being the original admin account) to the new user id number.
