Changed domain, permalinks screwed up…

    Hi,

    I’ve recently changed my domain and moved my blog… So, I’ve successfully changed all the parameters, replaced URLs in the database, and all works fine – except for one thing: the custom permalinks are all screwed up… So, the default permalinks (?p=xxx) work, but when I set custom permalinks (they were already set in the database before the migration), I get 404 errors…

    Now, all paths in the settings are correct, the address in the link is the one it should be, but I just can’t seem to make WordPress redirect… Same thing for pages, not only posts.

    What am I doing wrong?

  • Check to see if WP has the ability to write to (or create) your .htaccess file – if not you may need to create one yourself and upload it

    Well, the .htaccess is there, it’s writeble, and its contents are:

    # BEGIN WordPress

# END WordPress

    Do I have add something there so that the redirection can work?

    Ooops… I didn’t notice at first that the apache rewrite module was off… Problem solved ??
