• Hey Peeps,

I amhaving a absolute nightmare with my log at the moment. OK its installed in a sub directory in the root as i have another blog on the main directory.

When i go to admin and then options and permalinks and select pemalinks i add this:

    /%postname%/

And then save it, then i am unable to access any pages of the blog including the admin page! All pages give me the following error:

    500 – Internal server error

Any help would be duely appreciated folks!

    Anyone?

If you can’t access admin–then try this–use phpMyAdmin in your options table and the record with the option_name permalink_structure set to blank.

    Then rename your .htaccess file.

The problem here is i don’t think the times that i have had this error wrodpress even produces the htaccess file in the sub directory where it is housed? Any ideas?

Also if this permalink structure option is not letting me rewrite my URL’s and causing errors is there any other options/plugins i can use to rewrite my URL’s?

I did have the basic version of All In One SEO installed but this didn’t work either after i enabled it! Arhh!
