changed site address in admin panel wordpress wont run

Just a quick update, I tried the Codex help sheet regarding having wordpress in its own directory but nothing changed. Web site is now giving this error.

Hi, I have just looked at it, and don’t see any references to the https://www.pegasus.uk.com web site. I am now getting these errors.

Thanks, got the site up and running with the hard coding of the wp-config file.

I tried doing it by editing the function.php file but got the following error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function phpupdate_option() in /home/pegasu14/public_html/wordpress/wp-content/themes/suffusion/functions.php on line 1

I left the word blog in there, and then but the name of the theme, but I got the same error. I placed the code on the next line after the <?php
