Changed Site Address (URL) by accident
-
I tried all the methods here: https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL
and none of them fixed the problem.
Originally, it was set to https://www.behindthescreens.us. I had another issue and since this is an addon domain, I thought (incorrectly) that changing it to the subfolder would fix the problem (as in https://www.behindthescreens.us/behindthescreens.us).
Now, whenever I try to login, it tries to find the wp-login.php file in the https://www.behindthescreens.us/behindthescreens.us folder, which doesn’t technically exist.
I’ve tried force changing in the wp-config, I’ve tried force changing in the functions.php for each them, and I’ve tried to change the values in the mysql database, which now show correctly but don’t have any effect on where it tries to log into.
I need to fix the other problem I posted about, but until I get this one ironed out, I can’t do anything.
