Changed siteurl from localhost to example.com in wp-admin…
-
…and now, I get broken link error when I visit localhost:8888/ (which redirects back to Apache Test Page). I also don’t have access to PHPMyAdmin, no matter which folder I am pointing my local server to. (I use MAMP for local server). Here is what it says when I try accessing PHPMyAdmin:
Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /phpMyAdminForPHP5/ on this server.
Apache/2.0.63 (Unix) PHP/5.2.11 DAV/2 Server at localhost Port 8888
Also, when I visit the example.com site that I changed the siteurl to, and access wp-admin from there, I can access it, but it shows this in the address bar:
https://localhost:8888/wp-login.php?redirect_to=https://example.com/wp-admin/
I can login here, but it is just accessing the version of WordPress that I had on the FTP, without the goodies I installed on my local site (ie. plugins).
