• So I am almost 100% happy with my wordpress. I have WordPress and Woocommerce installed in a folder called /blog. I changed the siteurl to go up a directory (to root) but I didn’t move any index files.

I changed my permalinks so blogs should go to
    site.com/blog/blog-name

    and Woocommere should go to
    site.com/store/product-name

I have a htaccess redirect for store to go to blog/store which WORKS beautifully but when I go to /blog it says the page can’t be found.

I am missing something here. I can’t move index.php up a level without overwriting another software that cannot be removed or moved. I want the blog to open the homepage at /blog but I have to make wordpress siteurl the root because if I don’t store shows as /blog/store.

Can someone help me figure out the renaming and how to get /blog to show the homepage please? ??

I’ve been following these guides sort of:
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory
    https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_The_Site_URL

Every time I try to merge the htaccess files it breaks my real homepage, redirecting it to a 404 in the blog.

The /blog page is still a 404 too.
