Changed url and can’t login anymore

  • Hello everybody,

    I’ve just changed things on this website for a friend. Today we realised that the website displays properly as besserenarben.at but not as https://www.besserenarben.at. I logged in, accessed the admin section and thought if I changed the url everything would be fine – once I saved it, I got a 404,
    when I tried to change it back and save it, I got a 404,

    thankfully the site works on the frontende (but only the home site) – no other links are working

    but I can’t even access the login page. I don’t have a backup, don’t know his server details – I’m not even sure he has any.

    Is every wordpress self created site hosted somewhere – and does he have server details somewhere? Is the only way now to change the wp-config.php file? If I make a mistake there, will nothing work?

    Is there a possibility to reset the entire thing and just create the website again – is there an alternative login possibility?

    Hi,
    thank you – does not really answer my questions.
    I found such tutorials – I was looking for a way without the hosting detail
    since I don’t have the hosting login details
    and I have mac – so the phpMyAdmin does not work – and I guess I need the web hosting details for that as well,
