changed url slug, want to use old one for another page

    I hope you guys can help me .

    So , i havea website where i had a url slug for a specific page

    Lets call it : domain.com/this-is-my-page/

    Now , i decided to change it to domain.com/another-slug-url/
    The reason i did this is because i wanted to use the original url for another page . Yet i noticed if i access the old url slug it will automatically redirect me to the new url.
    So this means that i will not be able to use the old one for another page ? Once a slug it is used it will be automatically redirected to the new url and cannot be used for another page ?

  • Try flushing your permalinks. Go to settings > permalinks and just hit the save button.

    i already tried that
    i also tried to change the permalink “type” to something completley different and then change it back but still the same thing happens
