• Hey guys,

So I changed the wp-content folder and it looks as though most of the previous assets did not get changed. Images that were previously posted are not showing up and still show the wp-content path.

My paths in the config seem to be correct, and everything that is posted now seems to be working very well.

My only solution so far is to try and reupload the missing files to the wp-content folder so that the site sees recognizes them.

    Thoughts?

  • According to a red notification message in the “Change Content Directory” metabox on the iTSec Advanced page\tab:

Please note: Changing the name of your wp-content directory on a site that already has images and other content referencing it will break your site. For this reason, we highly recommend you only try this technique on a fresh WordPress install.

As the “Change Content Directory” metabox completely disappears after using this functionality I thought it would be best to remind you.

    Ah yes, indeed.

Well I guess we’ll have a little bit of both from here on out. ^_^
