    Hi,

I am not sure why this is happening, hope someone here can help me out:

We recently updated our WordPress to 4.0, which went by smoothly, now every time we make changes to WP pages and save it, those changes don’t show up on the site.

However, when I go back to the editor to make the changes again, I can see the change in the editor but it doesn’t show up on the site.

At first I thought it might be my browser’s cache, so I cleared all the cache, restarted my machine and the changes still don’t show up and they do show up in the editor.

  • Are you using a caching system like W3 Total Cache or WP Super Cache?

If you are referring to a plugin, then no we do not have any caching plugins installed.

    ummm it is strange.
Could you give me your site url please?
Also, give me an example to test in my end.

It’s an internal site, no one can access it.

    Example:

I go to “About Us” page, click on edit and add a word “test” save the changes and go to the main site and navigate to “About Us” page and I dont see the word “test”.

When I go back to the admin area and click on “about us” to edit it, I can see the word “test” in there.

Do you use proxy in your network?

Could you give me the list of your installed plugins please?

The issue was with our internal DNS not pointing to the right server. Once we updated the DNS, everything worked out.

    Thanks for the support.
