    Hello

I have added sale price and Google product category as optional attributes. However, none of these changes are showing after I save and recreate the feed. I have cleared my site caching and also tried a different browser, no changes.

    What am I doing wrong?

    He @gf87,

    Thank you for contacting us.
Google product category should be already added and this attribute should not be tempered with as it is the placeholder for the “Default Category” and Product category mapping tool you set up at the top of the manager.

So make sure you leave that attribute as is with “Defined by the Category Mapping Table.”

The sales price attribute should be set up with combined fields and does so by default. Is that correct with you?

    Neither is working:

    – Google product category is added in the manager, not showing in the XML feed. Also not when I add this as an attribute.

    – Sales price is set up as you mention but this is also not showing up in XML feed while correctly setup in the back-end

Could you please create a completely new feed without adding or removing attributes? Just the standard feed as it is when creating a new feed.

Do you have the XML feed URL for me to look at?

    Hello @gf87,

In the XML you have sent I see the sales price, for instance for the product with ID EI-KIT-6

So the sales_price attribute is working for this product. Could you check if the products without sales_price attribute actually have a sales price?

The Google product category will be added to the feed if you make sure you leave that attribute as is with “Defined by the Category Mapping Table.” in the optional attributes section.

You will see how that works if you create a completely new test feed without editing the attributes.

I checked the EI-KIT-6 product in the feed but it only shows the regular price, not the sale price: “<g:price>45,00 EUR</g:price>” –> this is not the sales price which the client pays.

As mentioned, the Google Product Category is not added as an attribute to the feed (new line in settings) but set at the manager level: https://ibb.co/DGxTFfd

    THis feed: https://planted-box.com/wp-content/uploads/wppfm-feeds/Google-Feed—All-Products—FR.xml

I see this in the feed: <g:sale_price>30.00 EUR</g:sale_price>
    For product: <g:id>EI-KIT-6</g:id>

Are we looking at the same xml feed?
Did you remove your browser cache?

About the Google category, great you have set the “Default Category” perfectly.
Nevertheless that will not be shown in the feed if you have remove or altered the “google_product_category” with value: “Defined by the Category Mapping Table” that you will find at the bottom of the manager under “Optional attributes:”

I know that that sounds a bit weird in the optional attributes but you should leave that as is. If you have removed it, add it back in and your google category will show up in the feed.

If you create a completely new product feed you will find it at the bottom as mentioned.
