I’ve followed the advice and gotten the subdomain mapped correctly but I’m finding that my media library isn’t working. When I upload a file it appears to work then immediately I get the red x and the file isn’t there. What I’m looking for is where the subdomain things the media library is and how do it set it?

I created a domain as this https://bridge2thecloud.b2bmsp.com and once it was installed I changed it in WP to https://bridge2thecloud.com and made the setting changes to the wp-config file recommended above all works except media uploads. (I chose subdomain not subdirectory)

Please don’t do it the other way. It’s harder, and not supported by anyone.

I will try it. The manual requirement makes me nervous and I really want to keep the domains separate. Don’t want a hint that the new domain is in any way related to my other domain. I notice that the dashboard login will always show the complete domain name. Are there any other situations where it may become revealed?

Then you shouldn’t use Multisite. Seriously. If it’s that big a deal, don’t do it. Make separate sites.
