• Hi Everyone,
    I have been maintaining a wordpress website, and I have faced some serious issues in the past month or so.

    Some codes were appearing over the header on the website. I deactivated some plugins which were causing such trouble. Now as I’m updating some content from elementor, the changes are not getting reflected on the website. Though I can see them when I am logged in as admin but the updates are not getting reflected on the website.

    I had a backup of the website when the plugins were causing the trouble, so I have uploaded the backup in a sub folder and again deactivated some plugins which were causing trouble (same as earlier), and the site in the subfolder is working fine. The changes are getting reflected for the website in the subfolder.

    However, when I am doing the same thing on the root folder I can not see the changes that I am doing from elementor.

    This is extremely strange and I am unable to find the reason.

    It would be extremely helpful if someone could give us a suggestion. Looking forward to it.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • First of all, login and delete the wp-rocket plugin. Either the plugin is out of date, or your php version is out of date, or your WordPress core is out of date – or a combination of all three.

    You have 404 errors all over the place since the path at the URL you provided is looking for theme files from the root of the site.

    I would take a full backup of the site, run a Health Check,

    https://en-ca.www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/

    Deactivate all plugins, and make sure all plugins are up to date, and WordPress, and then update each plugin one-by-one checking each one to see if it causes a site conflict.

    You may not be seeing frontend changes bc of server cache.

    @corrinarusso Thanks for your suggestions.

    I have already deactivated the wp-rocket plugin but still the error codes are appearing.

    The cache has been cleared by the hosting company but still the chnages are not visible.

    For troubleshooting I have also deactivated all the plugins and activated one by one but still could not point out the issue.
