• Hi there,

I have been notified that the below files were changed yesterday:

    wp-content/wflogs/ips.php
    wp-content/wflogs/rules.php
    wp-content/wflogs/attack-data.php
    wp-content/wflogs/config.php
    wp-content/plugins/wordfence/tmp/configCache.php

I have not had this flagged to me before. Sorry if this is an obvious question but can you please tell me what this means? Is this part of the update? This is all new to me!

    Many thanks,
    Honeybee365

  • Yes, these changes appeared in the Wordfence logs for several of my sites, when the have not been previously logged. Dear Wordfence – please assure us the “attack-data.php” file you apparently placed in our firewall logs then notified us about is not related to, or part of, an actual attack.

    Hello,

    Any news on this?

    Thank you!
