Changing Admin role to Subscriber automatically

I don’t know if anyone has come across this but we are having an issue where Admin users are updating other user accounts their own user role is automatically changed from admin to subscriber. I turned off WordFence and this seemed to fix it.

There are no logs of attempted hacks using these Admin usernames. Does anyone know what could be causing this and how to fix? Thanks in advance
