    Hi,

I am running in a lay-out problem and I can’t figure out how to fix it. I want to have nice looking buttons at the end of a lesson, so the student can finish the lesson.

In the template “Lesson (Learning Mode – Default)” the Edit Lesson Block is added and it’s looking good:

That is how I want the buttons to look. But when I save the template I am seeing this:

How can I make it work? There is no option to change. I am puzzling for over an hour now, and would like to make it work.

Also, I want to get rid of this ugly block when you have completed a lesson and change it for a nicer one. But how?

  • Hi @basdemeijer,

Thanks for reaching out! With Sensei LMS on the frontend of the website, lessons can be viewed in one of two ways

    • using Learning Mode templates
    • Using Non-Learning mode templates

To access the lessons using learning mode templates you can either enable the Learning mode globally from Sensei LMS > Settings > Appearance

Or activate the learning mode for individual courses from the Course Settings sidebar on the Course edit page.

Any changes you make to the learning mode template will not show up if the lessons are viewed using Non-Learning mode/PHP templates. This is why you cannot see the changes in the buttons on the front.

More info and details about editing the Non-Learning mode templates are here https://senseilms.com/documentation/theming/

If you have a moment, would you like to leave a review of the plugin?

Thank you for using Sensei LMS!
