Changing author name avoid categories from being display

Hi
Just created a facebook app and using your plugin.
great plugin I am just trying to accomplish 2 things:

1) Changing the name of the author because it displays the name of the app… (can I change the display name of the app in FB?)

2) It starts the post excerpt with the categories like:
entertainment, sports.. then the short excerpt
How can I remove the categories from the excerpt?
