From what I have read on these forums, you cannot change your avatar unless you click on the button to disassociate your account from facebook? Is that correct? If not, please let me know how. If so, is there a way I could add some text saying “If you are logging in with facebook, you must disconnect your account from facebook to change your avatar” or something to this effect? Otherwise, when they try to change it – nothing happens.

    Hi pugman76,

Please see FAQ#27 – but to confirm, yes, *if* you choose to use Facebook avatars, and *if* a given user has logged in with Facebook, their Facebook avatar will take precedence over their WP avatar. It’s on my todo list to add an option to disable this on a per-user basis – unfortunately it’s just taken forever because each time I come back to the plugin I end up having to prioritize fixes to existing features that Facebook breaks with their regular API deprecations. So no ETA yet, aside from saying that it’s definitely something I plan to add at some point ??
