Changing background color for dummies! ;^)

  • Please speak to me like I am an idiot! I have searched these forums and done Google searches about how to change the background color of my new and super-cool WP Blog, which you can see here ; I know HOW to change it, I mean, I had a Blogger site and regularly changed the HTML code, but this PHP stuff is new to me.
    A step-by-step tutorial (i.e. not just “open this and do this…”) would be GREATLY appreciated!

    I go bonkers, when the information offered to newbies (like me) on how to change or modify things in WP.I want to post, not take on a new learning curve, as required with WP. Great program, that is not the issue. It is when some thing needs to be added or modified is the big cloud of “what do you mean” enters. Even more maddening are some “oh all you need to do is ……. Clang clang alang goes the trolley.
    Oh well, back to banging my head on the wall.
