Changing Blog Post Title Font Color / Style

I’ve been trying to change the font style and color of my blog post titles, but altering:

.post-title {
font-size: 2.5em
line-height: 0%;
font-weight: 500;
text-align: center;

to include “color: #fff;” doesn’t change a thing.
