Changing bullet image in mantra theme

Hi, I′d like to change the bullet image in my mantra theme becouse I′m using a non white content background color and it looks awfull. I have tried changing the image in the theme contents, but it′s not working. Does anyone know how can I get to display my own bullet images? Thanks
