I need help changing the color of category link text from black to another color. If you go to the page link, you will see beneath each article is where they’re supposed to display the category links (Freshwater/Saltwater/Invertebrates/etc..). We have a black background and a dark theme color and the text for the category links just disappears into the background.

If you can tell me where in the theme customization where those colors are controlled (i’ve looked everywhere and I can’t find it) or some custom CSS or shortcode to fix it. Thanks!

Hi @dude904,

Yes, there is no any setting to change the category link color. However, I will give you a css code to change the category color. Please copy and paste the following CSS code in the Additional Area of the customizer.
```
.cat-links a {
color: #dddddd;
}
```
After pasting the code hit “Publish” button to save it. I hope this will help you.

The .CSS code addition didn’t work. I made sure to purge the caches and hit ctrl-f5 a few times to get a fresh page load after the .css code was saved. I’m sure it’s something residual from the previously installed theme, but for those of us with a dark themed website, it’s pretty maddening when you can’t track it down using theme editor.

This did not work for me either.
