Changing Character Length & Types of auto-generated passwords

  • Hello,
    When I approve a user who has registered for my site, the system generates a 12 character password and emails it to the user.

    I want to change the # of characters to 8, and I want to prevent the system from including 0 or O in the passwords.

    The plugins I use that would have anything to do with password are New User Approve and Register Plus Redux. Neither of these plugins have “character length” or “character types” password options.

    What should i do?

    I was able to shorten the length to 8 characters. However, I can’t figure out how to remove 0 and o from the list of characters included in auto-generated passwords. Can anyone help with that?

    Can please point me in the right direction as to where you changed the length?
