changing color of "select" check mark / border

Thank you for the plugin. It’s exactly what I need. : )
A couple of questions:
1) For when the client selects an image, how can I change the color of the checkmark from white to red
2) And then how can i also put a red border around the image so it’s clear what has been selected?
Not sure if this is CSS that is needed, but if so, would you be so kind as to include that CSS code in your reply?
